You are invited with open arms to enter Youmanity’s Annual Photography competition. It’s open to all photographers, amateur and professional, and submission is free. The theme, this year, is...
Youmanity reports on a most resourceful and dynamic non-profit organisation:The Safety Box.
This community interest company offers training and development programs to help young people (and young adults) develop important skills such as leadership, team working, high risk conflict resolution, violence reduction, personal development and problem solving.
The Safety Box believes that these are some of the essential keys to success. They open doors to learning, to life in addition to work. They are a platform on which to build employability skills and the gateway to future well-being and prosperity.
Consequently, the programs offered by The Safety Box have been developed as a way to demonstrate to young adults that there are ways to avoid gangs bullying, harassment or more serious, violent situations. Where avoiding threat is not possible, The Safety Box helps youths to manage and control dangerous situations.
The Safety Box was founded by social entrepreneur and international motivational speaker, Nathaniel Peat (photo)
