A graduate of Psychology from the University of London, Angelo Iudice works as a researcher for a Government body of the United Kingdom.
In 2008 he founded Youmanity with the main objective of promoting the importance of social inclusion. Below the motivation that drives his charity:
" I was 18 when I came to London looking for acceptance. My adoptive British home became the most exciting place in the world and so were the people I met - many from other ethnic minorities. They showed me hospitality and taught their customs and traditions. This, of course, wasn’t without its problems.
During my time in London, I also met people who challenged my believes, my identity and my allegiance to this country. The more I was challenged, the more determined I became to achieve good results through which to show my gratitude to those who gave me a chance."
Angelo was knighted by the Republic of Italy in June 2017 for his efforts in promoting cultural diversity.
