Bente Marei Stachowske
Parivash is a nine years old who calls herself Lola. She talks like a waterfall, is full of self-confidence and loves singing and dancing.
Lolaâs mother, Ozodakhon Issroilova, supported her daughter from day one. The father left them.
Ozodakhon helps other mothers overcome the prejudice of having a disabled child. In Tajik society children with disabilities bring shame and are often hidden away.
